Number One
I go to college in Guadalajara, Mexico, at el Technologico de Monterrey. I studied high school in San Diego. I encountered your article the other day while waiting for a doctor appointment, "Mexico Will Be Numero Uno" (June 1999).
This article concurs with my own beliefs in the future of Mexico. That is why I am studying international business. The article made great statements purely based on facts and numbers, which was the thing that intrigued me the most, and proved perfectly that Mexico will be number one.

Patrick Osio Is Numero Uno
I was sent a copy of Patrick Osio Jr.'s article, "Mexico Will Be Numero Uno." You cannot imagine the pleasure it gives us in Mexico to read such positive and well documented articles such as Mr. Osio's.
It is very disheartening to always seem to be reading negative things about our country. Apparently Americans are not aware of our silent and bloodless revolution to finally gain a true democracy, to better our lives for the sake of our children, to rid ourselves of drug cartels who are here because Americans must have their drugs, to hold our elected and appointed officials accountable for their actions, and end corruption at all levels. It’s a hard struggle made harder by the lack of sensitivity in your press, and from your elected officials who always look for the worst.
Mr. Osio's article was wonderful, and I'd like to thank him for writing about our positive advances. I'd also like to congratulate your magazine for seeing the need to publish information about Mexico. Could we have more articles like this one?

I’m extremely delighted to be a TWIN honoree for 1999. Having attended George Williams College, the award is even more meaningful. Thanks to everyone in the YWCA family.

Job Search Help
The article by Jeff Prekker about jobs in San Diego’s bioscience community (April 1999) is excellent.
As a local engineer with over 15 years of manufacturing experience in the bioscience industry who is currently looking for a job (my former company moved out of town), this article is a blessing. I will use information from it in my job search.
Thanks for your help.
