With 11 rental developments scheduled to open in 2004, landlords are gearing up for fierce tenant wooing. As if the privilege and luxury of living in America’s Finest City weren’t enough, apartment amenities are enticing prospective renters.
Among the developments is Northblock Lofts, aimed at the Downtown businessperson. The lofts offer in-home washer/dryer units, custom cabinetry and granite counters. And for those busy Downtowners who just can’t stay away from work, an on-site business center.
Meanwhile, the Palermo entices tenants with rooftop decks, a pool and spa, views of the bay and Downtown, and an exercise facility.
Porta d’Italia Appartamenti has a 24-hour fitness center and a combination club room/media room with a full-size kitchen.
The Mills at Cortez seeks to entice folks with a bit of history. Built in 1901, the Henry E. Mills house is on the city of San Diego historical sites list.
