Concordia University Opens Satellite San Diego Campus

Online business courses are offered through Concordia University, a private school in Irvine that opened a San Diego satellite campus in May. The Orange County university is part of the 10-campus Concordia University System of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. Concordia emphasizes “a tradition of Christian values, service to others and academic excellence.”

Classes in the local CU Accelerate program start in August at the undergraduate level. Students in the 16-month degree completion program attend classes one weekend each month at the satellite campus. The remaining course work is done online. Future plans for the San Diego location include MBA and entrepreneurial MBA programs, says Miriam Giorgianni, San Diego campus director.

Concordia’s San Diego campus office is located in University Towne Centre. For information, call Giorgianni at (858) 455-5725 or go to www.cui.edu.
