Where All The Lights Are
Bright — Downtown Arts

The performing arts flourish Downtown, where San Diego’s greatest concentration of top-notch producing organizations and venues are based. Performances Downtown and in Balboa Park draw audiences from county residents to regional, national and international visitors in town on business or for pleasure. The city transient occupancy tax funds many of these organizations; they in turn are both visitor destinations and lures that bring business from throughout the region.
