As Delaware North takes over management of the Old Town State Park concession, it has brought to town a team heavy on hospitality and retail experience. Running the show as general manager is Roseanne Diamond-De La Mata, a San Diego native who was director of business development for Facility Services Aramark Inc.-Carlsbad. The director of operations is Al Gonzalez, who has served as g.m. of two Delaware North properties: The Grand Hotel at the Grand Canyon and The Wawona Hotel in Yosemite. Debbie Case, the director of retail, was president of Case By Case Consulting and spent 26 years as g.m. of Saks Fifth Avenue.

The sales and marketing manager is Lindsay Sudel, who held the same job for the Casa Guadalajara in the park and before that for Chart House Inc. Rebecca M. Nicometi, the controller, held the same position for the company’s Yosemite operations and was the firm’s internal audit director. The human resources manager is Kimberly Foxwater, who held a similar position with The Omni National Golf Resort & Spa-Tucson.

Pat Golden-Romero, the training manager, was an instructor at Johnson & Wales University and trainer at Caesars Resorts. The area manager, Larry Hanberg, was general office manager for 10 years at Saks Fifth Avenue in La Jolla and customer service manager for six years at I. Magnin. Patrick Zondler, the retail manager, was a department manager for Saks Fifth Avenue in Fashion Valley. The retail buyer is Becky Grant-Tait, who spent the last 16 years buying nationally for the Nordstrom at Horton Plaza.

The interpretive and environmental manager is Kara Murtey, who worked as a park ranger in Alaska’s Denali National Park.

Finally, overseeing the food service as executive chef is Patrizio Sacchetto, who was consulting chef for Paris Hotel & Bally’s Hotel-Las Vegas, and Boulevard Restaurant-Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The sous chefs are Paul Janeway, former executive chef at Santa Theresa Hotel in New Mexico and Jose Santiago, who was sous chef and receiving manager at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
