A day of Olympic-style games at the beach for San Diego’s commercial real estate industry raised money to support Downtown’s Monarch School for homeless and at-risk children. The many activities included a surfboard relay and capture the flag. (Misty Hakola with Burnham Real Estate, on the left, went on to win that event.)
More than 250 members of the industry took part, 120 (12 teams) as athletes and about $125,000 was raised. About $250,000 was raised in the last two years. It was the third year for the event organized by Arden Realty. The winning team, again, was Grubb & Ellis/BRE Commercial. (Photos by Chay Mendoza.)
