Michael Dillon has joined Douglas Wilson Cos. as director of real estate and development where he will work in the acquisitions department, focusing on entitlements, purchasing and repositioning existing properties. Dillon also will assist in the opening this month of Douglas Wilson operations in Atlanta. He hails from TriMont Real Estate Advisors Inc. in Irvine where he served as assistant v.p. and asset manager.

Dana Irby will succeed Martine Tobin as director of sales for San Diego-based Bartell Hotels. Tobin is returning to her native France after 12 years with Bartell Hotels. Irby is director of sales for Bartell Hotels’ The Dana on Mission Bay and will continue in that role along with her new responsibilities for all seven properties. She has been with Bartell Hotels for 15 years.
