While Downtown’s builders are formally and informally preparing new residents for an urban lifestyle, Centex Homes San Diego has turned the topic into a series of regular seminars.

Scheduled for Sept. 22 is “How to Maximize Kitchen Space.” Those who attend will learn from interior design and cooking experts a step-by-step process on how to best utilize cupboard space and how to decorate with kitchen supplies.

On Oct. 19, Centex will hold “Making Friends,” a program to help neighbors understand how to deal with local conflicts.
