What are your hobbies?

My hobbies include golf, reading and watching my 15-year-old daughter play softball.

What keeps you up at night?

Strategy and successful implementation keeps me up at night.

Have you ever had a mentor and what did he/she teach you?

I have been lucky enough to have two mentors during my life. The first was my father and the second was Coach John Wooden. I worked for Wooden at his basketball camps and was fortunate enough to spend a good deal of time with him for an entire summer. It’s difficult to overestimate how influential he can be. The older I get the smarter Coach gets.

Five years from now, credit unions will…

In five years there will be fewer credit unions but they will have a greater impact on consumer finance in San Diego.
