Greenbrook Financial Advisors is relocating to 655 W. Broadway from its current offices in the Bank of America building at 450 B St. The move will occur after $650,455 in improvements are made in the 3,046-square-foot offices.
Johnson & Jennings General Contracting is doing the tenant improvements under a contract with Landmark & Associates, property manager for the 23-story high-rise. Gensler & Associates is the space planner and interior designer for the work.
The project involves installation of white oak double doors at the entrance, and tenant improvements to the reception/lobby area, conference room and kitchen. Finishes include custom millwork desks, tempered glass double doors at the conference room entrance and upgraded finishes at the walls, to include accent paints and vinyl wall talkers. Executive offices will feature frameless glass partitions and wall-mounted plasma screen televisions.
Joe Weaver is project manager for Johnson & Jennings. Max Volkman is project engineer and Luis Cervantes is on-site superintendent. Subcontractors include Dynalectric, Control Air Conditioning, Schmidt Fire Protection, Pyro-Comm Systems, B&B Acoustics, A-1 Plastics, Town Construction, Interior Specialties, Centex Glazing, Dave’s Painting, Re:source Floors, Innovative Wallcoverings and Insulcom.

San Diego Training and Conference Center is the latest tenant for DiamondView Tower. The full-service classroom facility signed an eight-year lease for 5,300 square feet of space at the 15-story building next to Petco Park. It was the first lease signed after the pre-leasing phase.
“DiamondView was our first choice for space, especially after seeing the efficiency of the floorplates, the amenities and the large amount of parking,” says Doug Reeves of San Diego Training Center. “As our strategic needs don’t require view space, we are delighted that we were able to negotiate a lease that met our requirements and our budget.”
Other tenants to date include Cox Communica-tions, Comerica Bank and CB Richard Ellis and one retail tenant, It’s A Grind Coffee House.
“One of the benefits that Diamond View Tower offers is flexibility to meet the needs of multiple types of tenants,” says broker Mike Gallagher, v.p. of Irving Hughes Group, who represented San Diego Training and Conference Center in lease negotiations.
Jason Wood, senior v.p. of finance and leasing for developer Cisterra Partners, says the transaction was the first with Irving Hughes Group, which represents the majority of Downtown tenants.
