Morrison & Foerster selected Mark Zebrowski as managing partner of the firm’s San Diego office. He succeeds Craig Schloss, managing partner since 2003. Schloss will continue to represent clients in labor and employment matters. Zebrowski will oversee the more than 70 attorneys in the San Diego office. Home builder Lennar promoted Christian Coleman to v.p. of sales and marketing for its San Diego division. Prior to the appointment, Coleman was Lennar’s divisional director of sales. He has 11 years of sales and marketing in the home building industry and is now responsible for all sales revenues in San Diego.

General Dynamics NASSCO, a subsidiary of General Dynamics, appointed Christopher Barnes as v.p. and general counsel. Barnes joined the military and commercial ship construction and repair company in April. He previously served as the chief counsel for Boeing Air Force Systems in Long Beach. He began his law career in 1987 at a Philadelphia law firm.

The Network Professional Association selected Ted Thompson, response technology manager for the San Diego/Imperial Counties Chapter of the American Red Cross, for its 2006 Best Networking Professional Career Achievement Award. The awards ceremony was part of Interop 2006, a conference featuring the latest in technology. An information technology professional since 1996, he started volunteering for the Red Cross in 2003.
