The European Aviation Safety Agency has certified La Jolla-based Blue Sky Network’s two-way tracking kit for the Eurocopter EC129B helicopter. Blue Sky Network provides global satellite logistics products for two-way linking and managing remote transportation assets. The certification covers the company’s devices operating over the Iridium satellite network. UniFly A/S of Denmark will be the first customer for the product being offered in partnership with Air Alpha, also of Denmark.

The technology integrates with Blue Sky Network’s SkyRouter global Web portal for asset tracking, text messaging and updating flight plans.
