I am shocked to know Maisel Presley was ever in the top 25 developers. My biggest regret in life is buying from Maisel Presley. Their sales team did a great job....lying. The building is a mess and nothing they promised was delivered. Every month the board has to spend money on something item to fix in the building. We were never given information in regards to vendors or warrantys. I guess now the company has my money, they do not feel obligated to provide good customer service. Must be nice. Thanks for nothing. This is a warning to all of you in the market to buy a new home. Do not buy from Maisel Presley.

To Whom It May Concern: I am very seriously considering a purchase of a Las Brisas condo rebuilt by Maisel Presley i Oceanside. Please let me know of any details of the work and/or shoddy work of Maisel Presley. Sincerely: Harry Johnson

While not on the top 25 list, I would like to comment that we bought a Concordia Home (condo) in September 2005. The sales staff was great, which made the purchase process(contract, options, accomodations, etc) very pleasant, and then came the customer service. Concordia has by far the worst customer service team ever assembled. Our main service rep was complacent, non communicative, and took literally forever to get our punch list finished, had a "NO can do" attitude and it often took my inexperience in homebuilding to suggest a solution that would get him to realize that he CAN fulfill a promise that his sales department promised me. The manager of the customer service dept. is equally complacent, which explains how a customer service rep who is awful at his job can remain employed for so long while underperforming. I was still happy with the property, appreciative of the sales person (Colby), and so long as you are a relentless "take no BS" customer the moment you close on your property to your customer service rep, you can have a good experience. It's just such a shame to have the ball dropped on the 1 yard line as many times as the customer service dept. did.

It has been a few weeks, but they have not responded to my warranty inquiry. A mushroom sprouted along the bathtub/wall crack, indicating a water leak somewhere. If I do not have an adequate response soon, I will post photos for everyone on the internet to see.
