How Apple, Yahoo And Google
Intrude On The Cellular Model






The entry of Apple, Yahoo and Google into the cellular market and what it might mean for local telecoms is the subject of a May 9 panel discussion presented by CommNexus San Diego. Quentin Hardy, bureau chief for Forbes magazine’s Silicon Valley bureau, will headline the event as moderator. Panelists are Seamus McAteer, chief product architect and senior analyst at M:Metrics, and Tim Long, managing director and senior research analyst at Bank of America, where he covers the wireless equipment, data networking and wireline equipment industries.

The session takes place in Qualcomm’s N Building Auditorium at 5775 Morehouse Drive and costs $45 to attend for those who reserve before noon on May 7; $50 at the door.
