Shop Talk Q&A with Meghan Federico

What are your hobbies and relaxations?

Golfing, skiing, reading and spending time with my family.

Did you ever have a mentor and what did he/she teach you?

My mentor taught me that it is possible to have it all. With hard work and a realistic sense of balance, it’s possible to achieve your career goals while maintaining a healthy family lifestyle.

Five years from now, community banks will…

…continue to represent 90 plus percent of all banks in existence as they fulfill their long-standing mission of serving local small to medium-sized businesses by funding credit needs with a reliance on personal relationship building rather than on credit scoring.

What keeps you up at night?

I tend to replay the events that took place during the day. When I am working on a deal or with a client I want to make sure I do the best job that I possibly can. The decisions we make and how we execute the proposed transactions impact our clients and I take that very seriously.
