Hospital Angeles Tijuana is the first fully integrated hospital in Baja California, a designation that means it offers complete medical services in-house. The 116-bed hospital has 97 private rooms, 12 operating rooms, an outpatient clinic, emergency room, pharmacy, intensive care unit, intermediate ICU, neonatal ICU, intermediate neonatal ICU, X-ray, tomography, MRI, nuclear medicine, fluoroscopy, angiography, fully equipped laboratory, helicopter landing zone, and adjacent medical offices where 135 board-certified doctors practice.

Hospital Angeles Tijuana is part of Grupo Angeles Servicios de Salud, the largest private hospital chain in Mexico. Grupo Angeles operates 17 hospitals — mediks.com — including eight in Mexico City, and in Querétaro, Torreón, Villahermosa, León, San Luís Potosí, Guadalajara, Culiacan and Puebla. Set to open Oct. 25 is a hospital in Ciudad Juarez.
