Thank you SD Metro for shining a spotlight on the fact that Planned Parenthood of the Pacific Southwest murdered 16,309 innocent babies in 2011. Unborn babies are humans, unique individuals who are simply at an early stage of development. They are just as dependent upon our parental care after birth as they are before birth. Unborn babies are people -- just like we were at that period in our lives. Our growth and development starts at conception and continues all the way to adulthood.

And thank you for bringing to our attention that Planned Parenthood of the Pacific Southwest is Big Business, paying huge salaries. Per their own 990 tax return for 2011, Darrah DiGiorgio Johnson was paid $292,306 plus $30,142 in additional compensation. Below are numerous additional executive beneficiaries of taxpayer funding and donor gifts.

It's sadly ironic how Darrah DiGiorgio Johnson touts "volunteerism and financial support" from the public, considering she is paid over $300,000 per year to be in charge of this murderous corporation.

My suggestion is this: Do not support their upcoming Gala and do not volunteer nor help Planned Parenthood of the Pacific Southwest in any way.

Sincerely,
Adrianna Wesley

I'm sorry to say it outloud - but I think most local filmmakers are happy that Cathy Anderson is FINALLY gone from the San Diego Film Commission. The above is the typical PR piece touting her talents and accomplishments, but it doesn't mention that she stiffled the film community, rarely getting involved in any local film events or never seeming to care about filmmakers. I think her biggest concern over the past decade was keeping her six figure salary job and keeping the funding for it - rather than helping filmmakers. I have much more info from insiders but at this stage - what's the point. She's gone and that's all that matters. We all just wish that the other Cathy - Cathy McCurdy was back - she was good.

Bye Cathy A. -- and good riddens !!!!

We were thinking about acquiring a few solar panel systems for our house last year. The only challenge was the cost. The least expensive solar system we identified was about five thousand dollars. It would have taken us decades to recover that amount. At any rate, we stumbled across these recommendations for creating your own solar panels. We decided to try that route. It saved us quite a bit of money, and the totally free, natural electricity is great! :) We run several of our appliances off of this source of power.
