Biden’s cancer diagnosis raises the question: Was he ever in good enough health?

On May 18, Americans learned that former President Joe Biden has stage 4 cancer that has, unfortunately, metastasized to his bones.

It’s sad that Biden, who for decades served our nation as a senator, vice president and president, now faces a life-threatening illness only four months after leaving the White House.

But I can’t help but think about what Democratic Party leaders and much of the news media told Americans only a year ago. Biden was then portrayed as “active” and “robust.” He was more than ready, according to the Democratic Party, for four more years as commander in chief, even as he approached his 82nd birthday.

Los Angeles Announces Flying Taxis for Visitors at ‘No Car’ Olympics

Los Angeles announced on May 15 that air taxis produced by Archer Aviation Inc. will be available for visitors and Team USA at the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass pledged last year that the Olympics would be a “no-car Games” and that people would need to use public transportation to access venues.

However, Archer’s electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft will also be used for the 2028 Games, transporting VIPs, fans, and stakeholders, while also aiding emergency services and security operations across Los Angeles.

US Attorney’s New Program Gets Around California’s Sanctuary Laws Shielding Illegal Immigrants From ICE

In what could be a game changer for the Trump administration’s deportation efforts, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for California’s Central District and federal partners launched a program to “neutralize California’s sanctuary state policy.”

Operation Guardian Angel, announced by federal officials on May 19, will file complaints and arrest warrants to allow federal authorities to take as many defendants as possible into custody from county jails, according to a Department of Justice press release.

“Under the Trump administration, we will not allow sanctuary jurisdictions to stand in the way of keeping the American People safe,” U.S. Attorney Bill Essayli, who launched the test program, posted on X.
