Media cover Trump 92% negatively yet have little impact. Here’s why

If you thought that the media would have a come-to-Jesus moment in light of the debacle that was their coverage of the Biden presidency, think again.

A recent study by the Media Research Center shows that President Donald Trump has received 8% positive coverage during his first four months in office, while 92% has been negative, if looking at the evening newscasts on ABC, NBC, and CBS.

Yes, you read that correctly.

And look, if Trump had a horrific start to his second term, or faced a Nixonian-level crisis, that would be one thing. But Trump 2.0 has been, by almost all practical measures, a profound success. The numbers back it up.

Is ‘Kamala Harris fatigue’ already setting in for California Democrats?

As former Vice President Kamala Harris continues to keep Californians guessing on whether she’ll run for governor, signs are emerging that Democratic insiders are increasingly apathetic over her possible return to the political scene.

Put another way, it appears that “Kamala Harris fatigue” may be setting in amongst important Democrats in the state, even if that sentiment has not fully trickled down.

Anti-MAGA Republican group mobilizes in California ahead of midterms

Steve Willing is retired, but he made a career out of taking struggling businesses and turning them around.

That’s more or less the idea behind a relatively new organization, Our Republican Legacy, a group that formed last year “to provide a contrasting voice to the MAGA movement” within the GOP. The Republican Party needs to be “restored,” the group argues, to one without the “chaos and division that populism has unleashed.”

In other words, a party with choices that are not carbon copies of President Donald Trumpand his frenetic, often defiant and anti-establishment governing style.
