MarketInk: San Diego’s OAN stays silent as White House muzzles access for news outlets

One America News Network (OAN), a San Diego-based, international cable TV news channel, is staying clear of responding to the recent controversy surrounding the Trump administration’s recent decision to ban Politico, CNN and MS Now from White House grounds.
OAN officials declined to issue a response comment to Times of San Diego, saying that it would be inappropriate to do so.
However, OAN has reported on President Trump’s decision, including his posts on Truth Social that the White House restrictive action was needed to stop the “corrupt, purposeful, pervasive, fully coordinated” fake news being released by the affected news organizations.
City Demands Answers from Gaslamp Business Leader on Comic-Con Ad Deal

An illegal Avengers advertisement installed over the Gaslamp marquee during this year’s Comic-Con has come back to haunt a local business leader.
A new letter from the city alleges that Michael Trimble, executive director of the Gaslamp Quarter Association, may have unilaterally approved and accepted $10,000 for the illegal advertisement.
“GQA strongly disputes the allegations contained in the City’s letter and believes the letter includes significant factual inaccuracies and mischaracterizations,” Trimble wrote in an email to Voice of San Diego. He has until Oct. 9 to formally respond to the city.
